One of the best private schools in Delaware, Sanford School is a co-educational, college preparatory day school for grades Prekindergarten–12. Nestled on a striking, 100-acre campus in Hockessin, Delaware, Sanford & Ellen Sawin founded Sanford School in 1930 as an innovative school where No Talent Lies Latent. Delaware American Legion Boys State is a unique educational program that focuses on participation and personal experience in a model state government, complete with governing bodies and elected public officials. The Boys State program mirrors the structure and operation Delaware’s state government.
